Ride for Africa (RFA) is a non-profit motorcycle adventure from Edmonton (Canada) to Tanzania, culminating in a climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. In spring 2010 a Canadian and German will ride 18,000 km, through 16 countries and 4 continents ultimately uniting with other travelers to tackle Africas highest peak! RFA supports with this adventure a fundraising campaign for Hands Across Africa - a grass-root charity supporting several projects in Africa.
Few experiences invoke as much awe and wonder as reaching the summit of the worlds highest walkable mountain. Standing at 19,340 feet, Kili is the highest freestanding mountain in the world, the highest peak in Africa and looms large over the vast savannahs of the Serengeti. Ride For Africa is inviting all travel and outdoor enthusiast to join us and Chagga Tours (the tour operator) in the summer of 2010 as we challenge ourselves, experience an adventure of a lifetime and interact with the same community benefiting from your support.
